I am interested in adding a scsi tape to a system with ide drives. What
I would like to know is if a cheaper card than the 1542B can drive such
a tape drive. I would think that there wouldn't be any need for a real
fast controller, but does anybody have any suggestions/experience in
this area?
Also, I keep hearing alot about wd8013 clones. Does anybody have any
information about where to get one that works well with 386bsd? I also
hear that ne2000 clones are slower due to driver problems. Is this
true?

   Thanks.
    Fred.
