Are you sure you have the server-1.2.codrv-fix-1.tar.Z installed, together
with the codrv-kernel? The effect you mention means that the scan code
remapping between server and kernel does not fit together. The first
version of the 1.2-Xserver didn't handle this correctly, the codrv-fix-1 one
should do.
