Well, actually...  I have later seen that a similar problem is documented, 
but it still didn't really help me.

Is there a workaround to this problem?  They mentioned changing the ethernet 
controller IRQ address... I have it set to IRQ 2.  Is the driver smart 
enough to use a different IRQ if I change it?
