I got the 386bsd Tiny and followed the installation. No problem so far until I tried to do the ftp piece. When the system boots, I assume it seems my WD8003 ethernet card at IRQ 2, memory 280 and d000, I see a line that shows me: we0 ethernet address 00:00:c0:06:8d:06 at x280 irq 9 on isa There is also a line that says: wd0 <WDC AC2120M> at 0x1f0 irq 14 at irq 14 on isa which I don't understand. I do the following: ifconfig wd0 192.149.34.13 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.149.34.0 (which matches my netmask and broadcast of my class C) my machine that it is hooked to is 192.149.34.10. After a couple of seconds I get: "reject 65531reject 65531reject 65531......" until I reboot the machine. I did see a comment about disabling the shadown on my bios. I did do that but it didn't help. Can anyone help or advise what I should do, please? Please email me as I don't have this news group yet (I should be getting it soon). Thanks.
