#define SARCASM 1

Yah, it just sucks. I can't stand loadable and unloadable device
drivers; runtime-modifiable partitioning with spanning, striping and
mirroring; adding and removing physical devices at runtime; multiplexed
device files; shared libraries done right; and reasonably good
compatibility with SysV, BSD, and POSIX.

Oh, and I really can't stand that the familiar `lpr' interface actually
talks to a generic batch queueing system, the simplified system for
starting and stopping daemons, and the hypertext manuals.

Yes, indeed, life with AIX is truly Hell.

#undef SARCASM

(NOT!)

`It will be a long, cold day in Hell before' I use another commercial
Unix system as my main platform.

The only reason I'm interested in 386BSD is that I see potential for it
to become at least as winning, and still remain free.
