I've just finished installing the UPGRADE from patchkit v0.2.1 to
0.2.2. My problem occurs when trying to recompile the kernel.
Following the instructions in the upgrade doc, I did the following:

  rm -r /sys/compile/*
  cd /sys/i386/conf
  config KENSKERNEL
  cd /sys/comile/KENSKERNEL
  make depend

At this point things hang. It seems to hang on the mkdep command.
Any ideas.

I did remove patches 83, 500 501, 502, 503, 504, 600, 601 per
instructions before installing the new patches.
