I heard a rumour that 386bsd was able to have virtual screens 
on the console. That is to say the user at the console
hits ,say, alt-f1 and then gets another login (getty). Is this available?

If so how is it done, I can find no reference to it in any FAQ, man files,
etc etc All of which leads me to believe that I was told an untruth!!
