Subject: Help with julian's tape driver?

I just got an IBM/Tandberg SCSI tape drive (used) for my system. It is
being recognized on bootup by julian's drivers, but when I try do do
something like:

	tar tvf /dev/rst0

I get:

	st0: illegal request
could not mode select for unit 0

(Which is strange, since the SCSI ID of the tape is 1. So I am assuming
that that is just referring to the 0th tape drive. Or something is really
not working right :).)

Help? Thanks...
