rdump is giving me an error about "botched" protocol in rmtgets when I try:

# rdump 0usf 145000 husky1:mub0:/nounload/nomount/norewind /dev/wd0a

...gives:
DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Tue Mar 23 09:24:28 1993
DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch
DUMP: Dumping /dev/rwd0a (/) to mub0:/nomount/norewind/nounload on host
husky1
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 146023 tape blocks on 0.06 tape(s).
DUMP: Protocol to remote tape server botched (in rmtgets).
rdump: Lost connection to remote host.
DUMP: Bad return code from dump: 1

...to a VAX/VMS (husky1, by name) 8mm tape drive. I *have* tried putting
the tape parameters (/nothis/nothat) elsewhere and I've even tried leaving
them out, though I'm told that would screw up the format of the tape since
VMS defaults would be used.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Philip
