The problem is that the Sperry Unix box I am trying to get going has 15 pin 
RS232C terminal plugs on the back. These being even more nonstandard than
the usual RS232. I have got some data on the pin outs, but these apparently 
are not enough. 

Looking in the back of the computer, only 12 of the pins are actually connected, and of these I can account for only 9. I can install the system partly but it hangs up at stage that is apparently due to incorrect handshaking on the port.
