Just try them both.  I did.  Both require MUCH operator intervention
to get them running on par with commercial UNIX systems.  Both allow
very quick installation of a base-level system.  I made my choice
based on my needs and my hardware configuration.  I use my system
as a mail and news system.  It is a lowly 368sx 16Mhz with 6MB of
RAM.  If this is similar to your configuration then I'll gladly
provide my observations by e-mail.
