Hi there,

I patched my 386bsd to 0.2.2 and it works just fine I added
cgd's patches to the async driver and my systems seems fine
bidirectionality seems to work.
I put my modem so that it will only give a carrier signal when
a carrier is present from the other end.
Getty normally cant open the port since there is no DCD!
The callout programs using the dialout ports work fine!
But on callin my modem picks up negotiates the carrier and
as soon as there is a connection 386bsd or getty hangs up the
phone, it looks like the line is dropped when getty sends his
initial and login message!
I fiddled around with the stty command but I can't see why
it should act like that.
This runs on a 40 Mhz 386dx on a 16Mhz 386sx it runs fine!!!!!!
Any ideas please??????

Roland
