Subject: keyboard locks under X, patch00083 causes system to not-boot.
Summary: help me baby
Keywords: X keyboard lock damn

After I installed patch00083, I was unable to get my machine to boot.
Once it was de-installed everything was fine, except X. If I leave
my machine on all night in X, after a few hours my keyboard locks up
and the load on my machine increases to over 1. (When I take X
down, it tells me it used an _incredible_ amount of processor time.)

I am pretty sure this has something to do with patch00083. Has
anyone else had the same problem? Does anyone have a fix? Does
anyone have a patch for patch00083 to fix its nasty bad meaness?
(btw: I tried defining KB_HACK or whatever, didn't help.)

Breaking patch00083 into two patches would be a good idea. "This is the
part that fixes your machine, this is the part that breaks it."

Thanks-
Josh.
