I know that XFree86 won't run on a Diamond Speedstar 24X because
of the proprietary clock interface, but suppose I was able to
wrench this info from Diamond (under non-disclosure, of course).
Would it be possible to run XFree86 then?  The card uses the
new WD90C31 chip.  I'd be happy to get it running, even if it
didn't use the accelerated features of the chip (like the Tseng
patches).  Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
