: : I have built a kernel with the berkeley packet filter included, by following
: : the instructions in the bpf/README file of the tcpdump distribution. Although

: : tidying up.
:
: Yep and you'll be the third person to do this work! There is a very complete
: set of patches and a new version of tcpdump on ref.tfs.com. Look in ~davidg
: for it. If you can't find it there email to davidg@implode.rain.com and ask
: him for it, or you can reply to me and ask me for it.
:
I just went and checked that I could get BPF from ref.tfs.com, I can but
things have changed do to usernames being removed. To get the bpf package
you need to get the following file:

	ref.tfs.com:/usr/home/davidg/bpf-package.386bsd.tar

The ~davidg well not work anymore, sorry about any confusion on this out
there.

: This work is based upon the lattest version of bpf available from lbl.gov
: and supercedes the version supplied with the distribution in etcdist.
:
: It includes a new if_we driver that has all sorts of clean up done.
: :
: : [stuff about the if_we driver deleted]
