I'm seeing something very strange with my SMC 8013 ethernet board.
When transfering data via FTP from 386bsd to a PC, I get a 100K/sec
transfer rate. But when going from the PC to 386bsd, I'm getting
about 5K/second. I discovered this when doing some NFS testing which
indicated writing was abysmally slow and reading zips along just fine.
I'm running with the original patchkit plus many other kinds of fixes, but
nothing I recall in the network or if_we.c driver code.

Got any ideas on this one? I'm hoping that the problem goes away when I
reconcile my kernel with the new patchkit, but I hate not understanding
what's causing problems.
