ARGH! PLEASE, EVERYONE - DO NOT GO OFF LOOKING FOR THESE PATCHES OR
ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THEM! I put them up only for the benefit of the
alpha tester (Rodney Grimes) and things actually got out of hand
rather quickly as it appears that the place I stuck this stuff wasn't
as hidden as I thought. I'll repeat - all the problems Chris
reported, and more, are actively being sorted out and there is
absolutely NO REASON for anyone else to jump the gun and install the
alpha patch set - you'll get the real, working, debugged and released
McCoy in less than 48 hours!

In case it looks like I'm jumping on Chris, I'm not. He's been a lot
of help, even if I he did take me by surprise by suddenly sending
fixes to something I hadn't even told him about! :-) Next time he'll
be more in the loop and we can hopefully avoid confusing everyone.

In retrospect, I also made a mistake saying anything at all before I
was ready... A lot of people wanted to know what was going on and I
made a sleepy posting without really thinking it through.. My
apologies to all. Watch this space for the upcoming announcement of
patches #84 - #110.

Regards,

I do not speak for Lotus as that's not in my job description.
