This is a reminder that the Usenet news on 386bsd is available via anonymous
ftp from minnie.cs.adfa.oz.au [131.236.20.70], in the directory bsdnews.
Here is the Readme....

Welcome to the 386BSD news archive on minnie. This contains the Usenet news
articles from comp.unix.bsd and comp.os.386bsd.* since just after 386BSD 0.1.

The archive is kept as a set of MS-DOS ZIP files, each containing 100 news
articles. For example, 3400.zip contains articles 3400 to 3499. Requests to
change the format of the archive will fall on deaf ears. You will need
PKUNZIP 2.04 to extract files.

The archive is kept in directories containing groups of 10 ZIP files. For
example, the directory 06000 holds files 6000.zip to 6900.zip.

The `subjects' directory holds the files with the subject line. For example,
03000sub.jet holds the subject lines for files 3000 to 3999. These files are
ordered by subject, not by article number. I have edited out those articles
related to the USL/BSDI suit etc. etc.

The file `dates' gives you a rough chronology of the files archived on minnie.

Updates to the archive will probably be done on a weekly basis. Disk space
is currently tight, so expect to see files disappear on a FIFO or LRU basis.
