I had it working under an EARLY (pre patchkit) 0.1.  It wasn't stable,
but that had a lot to do with improper handling of mbuf's & such.

I haven't worked with it since the first patchkit stabilized.

The code is in: sunvis.rtpnc.epa.gov:/pub/386bsd/ppp-hacks

Be warned, it's out of date and unfinished.
