How totally sucky!  I sent a very polite, detailed posting to the Linux FAQ 
list maintainer, trying to clear up several innaccuracies regarding 386BSD.

That they continue to leave that stuff in the Linux FAQ either points to no
available time on the part of the FAQ list maintainer, or an intentional
slander against a competitor.

The thing that really bums me out is that Linux looks pretty cool, and there
is no need for them to propagate false information about 386BSD to make it 
look bad.
