I also get the error panic: kmem_malloc: kmem_map too small
but upon booting with a new 300MB SCSI attached. I edited
i386/include/param.h and doubled the size of the kmem map but
same problem. It happens with 0.1 dist and 0.1 PL58.

I have two esdi drives as the primary and an Adaptec 1542B
as secondary controller. I have run a Toshiba 3301 off the
adaptec sucessfully, but when I try to boot with either this
300MB scsi or a 1GB scsi, I get the panic. Have not tried
the "julian scsi driver" nor have i tried a straightforward
"scsi only" installation without the ESDI disks.

Anybody have any ideas? I will cross-post to the *new* groups
comp.os.386bsd.questions and comp.os.386bsd.bugs.
