Where can I find docs (e.g., man pages) for the commands located in
/usr/local/bin? Particularly, I'm looking for more than simple
usage apropos for mread, mwrite, mformat, etc. I assume that these
utilities are included for manipulating MS-DOS filesystems, but I
have been unable to make them work properly. For example, when
I type:

mread b:*.* /tmp

I get:

mread: No match.

Must I mount the floppy before mread can take effect? Should I
reference the floppy by its devicename (e.g., /dev/fd1a)? Any
help (in absence of documentation) will be appreciated.

I do, in fact, have some little experience with Unices, but the
machinations involved in connecting Unix with micro devices are
a bit beyond me.

Thanx,
