Hi,

For those of you who are interested in this topic -
On my question of doing remote tape backups, the response I got
were all favourable - it has been done successfully using 386bsd.

Backups have been done successfully to (among other machines) a
Solbourne (SPARC clone) and an AViiON.

Thanks to Andre Skarzynski (abs@cs.sun.ac.za) and
	  "Markie" (tinguely@hookie.cs.ndsu.nodak.edu)

	and others for your replies.

Geoff.

happy hacking & happy backing up to all -

Looks like I'm going shopping for some QIC150's
