Actually, I've been using AT&T also as the Novell deal is not done
yet, AT&T still owns USL (to the best of my knowledge.) I believe all
that has passed hands between AT&T and Novell is a letter of intent
(corrections welcome.)

If that's correct then I would imagine that AT&T as the majority
shareholder in USL still has their hand in USL and Novell probably has
limited influence until the ink is dry (perhaps the best influence
Novell can have would be demanding USL settle the suit before Novell
will throw their money in, assuming USL management wants Novell to do
the deal, they may be against it, the prospect of having to work for a
living rather than launch lawsuits may not suit their current
corporate culture...ahem.)
