OK, everybody, hold off on installing the patches 00077 through 00082 I
posted about, unless you are in immediate need of fixing most floating
point traps and signal 6 gcc aborts, rebuilding the source tree or using 
a SCSI tapedrive with variable-length blocks, in which case you should
have a by-hand backout plan.
