Hello All,
This may seem like a FAQ, but I dont think that it is. I could
be wrong tho. I am running XS3 with a Genius Mouse ( mouse systems)
I have installed cgd's com driver. I am not using 16550's A or
otherwise. I am having problems with the mouse getting silo
overflows during heavy load. I know that it is a problem with the
com driver in that it can not handle the load, but I am running the
mouse at 1200 Baud. My Xconfig file looks like this.
    mousesystems "/dev/tty00"
    BaudRate 1200
    SampleRate 150
    # Emulate3Buttons

What else can I do besides puttin in 16550's. My com card is part of
my IDE controler and the chips do not come out.. At least not very
easily :-). What can I do with the Baud Rate and Sample Rate so that
the mouse will not lose characters. If that is not an option please
say so. I really dont know. Thanks for any info..
  Overflowing.
