you might be able to fix this problem by reducing the number of groups,
root is belonging to. If you want to NFS mount a remote disk, you're
groups are sent to the remote system. Older NFS mountd's only accept
a maximum of 6-8 groups in RPC handshakes. Remember to re-login after
changing the your groups.
