Subject: [386bsd] Nobody using Buslogic 742a?

No responses from my previous message about the Buslogic 742a scsi
controller.
I cannot get the 386bsd boot up process to complete when using the 742a in
my Micronics eisa system. With a 1542b it works ok but with the 742a it gets
as far as the line:

 starting network daemons: routed

then dies.
I then get timeout messages from the 742a driver and nothing more :-(

I have tried just about every config option for the 742a but always the
same place and it gets timeouts. When using the 1542b kernel with the
742a the same error occurs, same place same timeouts.

What I would like to know is if anyone else is using a 742a in an eisa
bus machine and what setup for the 742a is actually working.
I am using Julians scsi driver with the supplied bt742a.c driver.

I have also tried a Bustek 747S scsi controller and it does exactly the
same thing.
Someone please tell me what the 742a setup should be
Thanks.
