I am running 386bsd on a 33Mhz 386 with co-processor, adaptec 1542b and a western digital 16 bit ethernet card. I have encountered an error when trying to do an NFS mount from the bsd machine to an HP 700 series, running HPUX 8.07. The error encountered is: Bad MNT RPC: RPC: Authentication error; why = Invalid client credential The problem is that we have managed to mount other NFS volumes on sparcs and Novell 3.11. We can also mount the bsd volume from HPUX, but not the other way around! Is there some known differences in versions? If so, can we get around the problem?
