Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a library which hides the details of shared memory access
under different operating systems like VMS and Unix/BSD from my application.

I'd be especially interested in versions for VMS and Unix/BSD. What does
POSIX provide in that respect ?

If someone has some examples (or could point me to some) for programming
shared memory under VMS in C I'd appreciate if you could drop me some
lines.

Thanks in advance -- Tom Leitner, Inst. for Telecommunications and
