Not to be a dork, but I also wondered about this.. and whether or not
the *trademark* (I'm sure this was what was meant) on "PC-VT" would
apply to the driver "pcvt"... the strings are different enough that
there shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Just curious, but was the request the result of an actual case of confusion,
or only the potential for confusion?  If the latter, I think the author
doesn't have to worry about dilution of his trademark, since the markets
for a DOS shareware comm package and a UNIX console device driver are
unlikely to intersect.

Boyd and others at DEC... isn't "VT" a trademark of DEC?
