I've installed the 386BSD system together with the patch kit (except 47)
as seems to be recommended. I've also managed to install Julian's SCSI
drivers and the modified LPT driver recently posted. All seems to be
working except the `init' program rebuilt after installing the patch kit.
I'm currently using the distribution `init'.

If I install the modified `init' program and reboot then the fsck
program reports an unreferenced file size 24576 (the size of the init
program) and states that it is clearing it. A prompt then appears
telling of the stty key allocations (the normal prompts from the rc file
stop after `Starting network'), and after about 5 seconds the system
reboots. This then repeats endlessly. Replacing the original `init'
cures the problem. I would appreciate suggestions.

My system is: 386/387 33MHz, 12MB RAM, Adaptec 1542b, Micropolis 1684 and
Archive Viper Tape.
